French Toast and the Zoo

Today we spent the day in the city. We started by going to our favorite brunch spot, Sarabeths. I go there just for the Almond Crusted French Toast drizzled with Raspberry Sauce and the English Muffins with Apricot Marmalade....yummy! It was Jack's first time at Sarabeths with us. It's such a delightful place that we try to go by ourselves to truly savor the food. It's a bit more challenging with a toddler, but he was on his best behavior. Mostly because mommy was well stocked with stickers, crayons and coloring books.

We then headed over to the Central Park Zoo. Once again our little munchkin was in his glory. He got really excited about the seals and penguins. He had so much fun he fell asleep in his stroller on our walk back to the car.

I miss the city on days like this, but would not trade our new life for anything. It was so nice to spend some time together as a family today. So much fun!
