We took a break from our fertility treatments and headed for some warm weather in Hilton Head last week. It was such a relaxing time for our family. We spent a lot of time hanging out at the beach and pool just enjoying being together. We've been so busy lately. Me, with doctors appointments and Jeff with work & business school. It was a much needed time for our family.
I wish I could post a video of our little guy and what a guppy he is. He just loves the water. Brings such joy to my heart as I watch him laugh and play at the pool.
This week has been packed full of doctors appointments. I was feeling a bit discouraged the other day and my sister called me with something that she had studied in her Bible study about waiting. She told me that when we wait on our circumstances we grow tired and weary, but when we wait on the Lord our strength in renewed. It was such encouraging words for me as we wait for another child because there are so many days when I'm just plain tired and worn out from this process. My body feels week and my soul feels weary. I wonder if I can take another day and then God in His perfect timing swoops in with refreshment for this weary traveler. Sometimes it's a verse in His word, other days its a call from a friend, some days its something unexpected like a sunrise or a warm day that brings the much needed strength for that day.
"Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord" Psalms 27:14
