What I'm reading

We are still waiting for news from the doctors. I wish I could say the second time around is much easier, but it's not. I forgot how tough waiting on the Lord can be at times.

My saving grace is my toddler that keeps me active and doesn't leave much time to dwell on things. This past weekend we got to meet Winnie the Pooh at Barnes & Noble. A real highlight for Jack. I'm hoping that Jeff (now that he's not traveling) will be able to hook up my camera so that I can post pictures.

I've also had some time to read. Here is what I'm reading these days:

I love Angela Thomas and this book is great encouragement for mothers during the early years of raising little ones. I love how she emphasises that our relationship with God can not wait until our children are grown and out of the house. God wants to be there for us in the midst of these busy years.
This is the Bible Study my girls are doing back home. I started it with them, and may have to complete it on my own. How I miss their sweet fellowship. It's such an appropriate study for this pilgrimage that we are on. Plus I adore Beth Moore's teaching style. I love a girl who is passionate about the Lord and can still likes a good manicure. How could my list be complete without a bedtime favorite of the little guy. I think I may have memorized this one, but it always makes me smile when I read it to him as though it's the first time he's heard the story. I just love that about kids.
