Spring is coming

Spring is one of my favorite seasons. I just love that new life is beginning to spring up everywhere. Flower buds have started to pop up in our yard. I've had so much fun with Jack exploring all the wonders of the season.
I especially love the celebration of Easter. It's the foundational celebration of our faith. At church last night we had an amazing service. The pastor read the story of Jesus washing his disciples feet. The service was followed by an opportunity for us to wash one anther's feet. It was humbling to give and receive that act of service with my husband. The question we were left with is, "What are you doing to take your love to the limit for others?" A powerful question as I think of all the times I revert to selfishness instead of showing love. What an awesome question to reflect on this week as I meditate on Christ's ultimate love for
me by dying on the cross.
