Sew Mama

I've been practicing my sewing skills on my new sewing machine. I made a pair of jammies for the little guy. They actually held up for two washings so I think were off to a good start.

I honestly do not know how I grew up in a house of all girls and never learned to sew before now. I went home to visit my family last week and my sweet and patient mom gave me a few pointers.

At least Jack is too little to tell me what he thinks of these new outfits momma is making him.
I tried to get a good picture of him with the jammies on and as any good toddler being photographed he fully cooperated. Not sure what the plugging his ears is all about.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I love having new blogs to read!!

I actually got my litle guy's cake from a local bakery. I really wish that I was talented enough to make that though! I didn't have much luck finding decorations for the party around here locally so I ended up buying the balloons and everything online. Ebay had lots of barnyard/farm themed decorations and the rest of the stuff came from Hobby Lobby. I had his shirt made by a lady on Etsy and then just got him some little cowboy boots at Wal-Mart.

I hope that helps!!
